Paul M. Mazonson, CPCU
President & CEO
A resident of Marblehead, Paul has lived on Massachusetts’ North Shore his entire life. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 1975, Paul entered the family insurance business. Established by his great uncle in the 1930s and later operated by Paul’s father for nearly forty years, Paul acquired the business in 1986.
Paul seeks challenge and inspires others to do the same. Mazonson LLC’s success can be attributed in great part to this characteristic. Examples include Paul ’s unique hiring and management approach, which began in 1980 with his strategic selling approach; his many breakthrough projects for the organization over the years and his numerous personal and highly successful fundraising efforts for causes in which he strongly believes.
Paul is committed to a business environment that fosters personal growth and development for its employees and to providing staff with state-of-the-art tools and resources to support their work. With this in mind, the organization’s relocation in 2006 to it’s current Wakefield offices was effected to support the company’s ambitious long term goals for growth.
Paul’s professional affiliations include being a member on the board of directors of Hoffman Institute, San Anselmo, CA, and being a member of the Board of Trustees, Cohen Hillel Academy. In addition he is past president, Cohen Hillel Academy; a board member of both the Jewish Federation of the North Shore and the Jewish Community Center of North Shore. Paul graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Vermont. He is also a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
