Paul Mazonson, president of Mazonson LLC, a leading independent insurance brokerage, has completed the 2006 Blackburn Challenge. The Blackburn Challenge is a 20 mile open-water rowing and paddling race off the coast of Gloucester. Mazonson's participation raised funds to benefit Hospice of the North Shore (HNS), Danvers. With an initial goal of $10,000, Mazonson was able to garner in excess of $16,000 for the cause.

Mazonson LLC, New England's premiere insurance brokerage for growth-oriented businesses and individuals, today announced that Mazonson has raised, through internal employee and external donations and Mazonson LLC matching funds, in excess of $10,500 to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims. The funds were donated to both Angel Flight, a charitable organization that provides free air transportation for disaster victims, and Massachusetts Senator John Kerry's Hurricane Katrina emergency relief effort, in which emergency supplies were flown to Katrina victims.
