Complaince Bulletin: MA Fair Share Contribution

The Massachusetts Division of Health Care Finance and Policy (DHCFP) made changes to the Fair Share Contribution regulations in October 2009. These regulations apply only to those employers with 11 or more full-time equivalent employees who work at Massachusetts locations.

For the third year in a row, Acadia Insurance has declared dividends for ASM members participating in our sponsored insurance program. The dividends reflect the strong performance of the program, with relatively low loss ratios each year. In February, over 100 members shared in dividends totaling over $351,804 for the 2006 year, and $355,329 for 2007 – with some companies receiving an average of $8,000 for the two years!
